A Light + Airy California Wedding With a Sweet Ode to Family

This quintessential California wedding is transporting us right into the heart of beautiful Montecito. Just look at that the classic Mission architecture of the church where the bride's parents were married 30 years ago! Not to mention, the airy backyard reception (at the bride's grandparent's stunning estate) complete with palm trees, a pool and twinkly lights over the al fresco dance floor. Sneak a peek at this classic Cali affair, captured by Christina of Hello Blue Photo.

From the Bride: "Like most girls, I’ve been planning my wedding since I was about 10. I went through stages where I wanted to be a wedding planner, a wedding cake baker and a wedding dress designer. My style has changed a little over the years, but I always knew I wanted a white wedding, and for it to be at my grandparents’ house in Montecito, CA. The church we are getting married at is the church that my parents got married at 30 years ago. When I saw an inspiration photo with eucalyptus , I knew that would be perfect, because it is an Australian native tree and my grandpa is from Australia. So, my all white vision turned into mostly white with eucalyptus greenery and touches of gold. My overall vision is light and airy, a romantic garden wedding. As soon as I stumbled upon Christina’s (Hello Blue Photo) work, I fell in love. Her style is so romantic, airy and beautiful. When we met her in person, I knew she’d be perfect. She’s so fun to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement session."
