Lifetime is going for the hat trick. After releasing two soapy, made-for-TV flicks about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—first Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, then Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal—the cable channel is working on a third. Here's what we know about Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace.

It'll cover—you guessed it—how the couple stepped back from their royal roles.

The movie will dramatize "the couple’s controversial conscious uncoupling from the crown, after the birth of their son Archie," the synopsis reads, per TVLine. "The movie details the struggles of the new parents and unique challenges of being part of the royal family, which ultimately led Harry and Meghan to give up their royal ties to forge a new life on their own terms."

Undoubtedly, Harry and Meghan's recent bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey will serve as fodder for the film.

The film was officially greenlit in March 2021.

Per a press release, "Casting is currently underway with production set to begin this spring for a worldwide debut later this year."

It will star two new actors as Harry and Meghan.

Lifetime used different actors in the first and second Harry & Meghan movies, and they're recasting once again for the third movie. Jordan Dean (The Punisher) will play Harry, and Sydney Morton (She’s Gotta Have It) will play Meghan. Previously, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Tiffany Marie Smith played Meghan, opposite Murray Fraser and Charlie Field as Prince Harry.

A release date has yet to be announced.

It's unclear exactly when the movie will debut, given that Hollywood has been shut down amid the pandemic. Fortunately, though, Lifetime knows how to fast-track a flick when it needs to. And again, per a press release, fans can expect the film sometime in 2021.
