Our Licensing Partners

When the first issue of Southern Living was published in February 1966, the magazine set out to be an “aspirational guide to Southern food, homes, gardens, and travel.” In the 57 years since that first issue was printed, Southern Living has delivered on that promise—and more.

Over the years, as Southern Living was recognized a trusted authority in food, homes, gardens, and travel, the brand began to partner with other industry leaders to develop, produce, and sell products that bear our logo and hold the brand's stamp of approval. Here is a snapshot of where you can find Southern Living licensed goods today.

The Southern Living® Home Collection at Dillard’s

Southern Living and Dillard’s, a national department store with locations in 29 states, partnered in 2014 to design The Southern Living Home Collection. This line is sold exclusively at Dillard’s and includes bedding, tabletop, kitchen, cookware, and linens. Our editors and designers meet regularly to create on-trend, seasonal products for your favorite holidays and high-quality, tested goods for your home. Over the years, we have developed more than 10,000 unique items together.

The Southern Living Home Collection is currently available on Dillards.com and at more than 240 Dillard’s stores nationwide.

The Southern Living® Plant Collection

The Southern Living Plant Collection was first introduced in Spring 2008. It is a partnership between Plant Development Services Inc. and the publishers of Southern Living magazine. Through this partnership, we aim to provide innovative new plants selected for their ability to solve specific landscape challenges. Each plant is the result of years of evaluations, trials, and research. Selected specifically for our Southern climate, they bloom bigger, longer and offer foliage as stunning and healthy as the blooms. The collection features hundreds of patented plant varieties—including shrubs, grasses, trees, perennials, fruit and berry plants, tropicals, and more—so it’s easy to find a beautiful, easy-care plant for your garden.

The Southern Living Plant Collection is available through local retail centers, including Independent Garden Centers, as well as Lowe’s, The Home Depot, and Walmart. Online, plants are sold at Plants by Mail, The Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, and Amazon, and these online garden centers.

Southern Living Inspired Communities®

These hand-picked neighborhoods embrace a pride of place and encourage new traditions of living in the South. Each features some of the best ideas in urban planning, architecture, landscape design, and recreation. Communities include Crane Island in Amelia Island, Florida; Frieden in Fredericksburg, Texas; and Azalea Cove in Lake Martin, Alabama.

Southern Living® Stores

There are currently four brick-and-mortar Southern Living Store locations in Huntsville, Alabama; Destin, Florida; and two in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Each shop sells a variety of products, from packaged food items and cookbooks, to travel, home, and décor accessories. It is the goal of every Southern Living store to give customers an opportunity to explore and celebrate the timeless traditions and rich heritage of the Southern way-of-life, while also bringing the pages of Southern Living to life in every home.

Southern Living® Kitchen

Developed by Phoenix Food, a dry mix manufacturing company, Southern Living Kitchen is a line of dry mixes developed to help at-home bakers and chefs make Southern favorites—such as funnel cake, beer bread, tortilla soup, meringue, and gumbo—using ingredients that are pre-measured and packaged in a box.

Select products are available for purchase at Walmart, Save Mart, Lucky’s, and Roche Brothers, while all products are available on Amazon and carried at the Southern Living Store.
