Looks like there's no love lost between Liam Payne and President Donald Trump. In an upcoming issue of U.K. culture magazine Rollacoaster, the former One Direction member reveals that prior to taking office, Trump personally retaliated against the group when they couldn't grant him a special favor.

"Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel," Liam said in a sneak preview of the spring cover story shared by the magazine. "You wouldn't believe it. It was about [meeting] his daughter."

The incident happened in New York City on an unspecified date, when 1D was lodging at Trump Tower. Trump, whose daughter apparently was a huge fan, caught wind of the group's stay and reached out to arrange a spur-of-the-moment meet-and-greet.

"He phoned up our manager and we were asleep," Liam recounted.

When told the band was unavailable, Trump had a stern suggestion. "He said, 'Well, wake them up,'" Liam said. "And I was like, 'No.'"

According to Liam, Trump's retaliation was twofold. First, he took away 1D's VIP security privileges. "He wouldn't let us use the underground garage," Liam explained of their need to keep cover from crowds of fans. "Obviously in New York, we can't really go outside. New York is ruthless for us."

Then, it seems Trump took away their rooms, too. "He was like, 'OK, then I don't want you in my hotel.' So we had to leave," Liam said.

BRUTAL.

The question is: Which Trump daughter was the Directioner? I would guess Tiffany since, at 23, she's right in the boys' key demographic. Then again, who's to say Ivanka isn't a Directioner mom?

At any rate, Trump has not commented on Liam's blistering account. I'll keep an eye on Twitter.
