Liam Hemsworth Posts Birthday Tribute for Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus celebrated her 26th birthday on Friday, November 23, and it looked totally wonderful and perfect, complete with tons of balloons, her beloved dogs, and a sweet love note from Liam Hemsworth.
Liam posted a photo of the birthday girl to his Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday to my sweet girl. You’re more precious than ever. So thankful to have you in my life.” He even added a red heart emoji because apparently that love note wasn’t precious enough. (It totally was though.) Miley and Liam’s relationship has been a journey; they met in 2009, got engaged in 2012, broke it off in 2013, and then officially got back together in 2016. Judging from the pic and the love note from Liam, things are better than ever — and Miley definitely looks happy!
In the birthday pic, Miley stands in a living room in sweatpants and a T-shirt, her hair pulled up in a high ponytail with a scrunchie, holding her rescue beagle Barbie, AKA “Little Dog.” She’s surrounded by a rainbow of brightly-colored balloons and two cute pink balloons reading “26” in honor of her birthday. Looks like the perfect birthday party to us, but can we come next time?
Miley and Liam recently lost their Malibu home in the California wildfires. On November 12, Miley posted about their situation on Twitter, saying that she was “completely devastated” but is one of the “lucky ones.”
“My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now,” she wrote. “My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong.”
