As one person on this week's episode declared, "The era of alliances is over." Coming into the night, it seemed that Ratu was doomed. But a series of events threw those allegiances out the window, with half the tribe being on the chopping block at some point. It culminated in the biggest threat in the game going home, with the tightest alliance surprisingly breaking apart.

Frannie Marin

As Frannie herself pointed out, this episode was the first time this season she didn't have some form of safety. The research coordinator proved she had brawn behind the brains, winning three individual challenges, including the biggest reward of the season. Newly vulnerable, she was excited to exercise a different facet of her game, and felt good with the women she had planned with on her reward. But she was in for the mother of all blindsides. After an afternoon of last-minute plans, the target ended up back on her, considered the biggest threat who was too irresistible to boot.

Were any advantages found or played on Survivor 44 tonight?

No! Though Jaime did cause some drama at camp when she told everyone about Kane being voted out with her (unknowingly fake) idol to try to get her name out of everyone's mouths. But, ironically, it only increased the target on her, since everyone assumed her story was too outlandish to be true, and that she still had the idol.
