It's 2020, and the Emmys have gone where they've never gone before: on a virtual stage.
But as much as things change, there are still some things in life that will always stay the same. Namely, that Black lives will forever matter.
And Insecure star Yvonne Orji, who was nominated for an Emmy, isn't going to let anyone watching tonight's awards show forget it.
To make her digital debut for the Emmys, the actress wore her natural hair out in all its glory, and opted for her signature short pixie cut, complete with a deep side part.
But the best part of her look for the night was the Black power fist that was shaved into the side of her coils.

Hairstylist Mary Daniels cut and styled the Nigerian star's hair for the evening, then master barber Mikey Da Barber, otherwise known as Mickey West-Potts, took the look to the next level by creating the outstanding design for Orji's special night.
"Had fun hooking my girl @yvonneorji with this design ...she looks amazing for the #Emmys2020," he wrote when he shared the photo to his own feed.
And hey, we couldn't agree more.
