Let Kendall Jenner Introduce You to the Going-Out Coat
Kendall Jenner is no stranger to setting street style trends, and on her latest outing, she perfected one we've been loving for some time: making your coat the entire outfit.
Jenner was photographed getting out of a car for a night out in New York City yesterday. Her going-out coat was a long, textured grey leather wrap trench which featured a brown leopard-print like print at the collar. The model cinched it at the waist with a built-in belt and folded the sleeves up to reveal the silky inner fabric in a white-and-gray pinstripe pattern. Underneath, Jenner seemed to wear a white top and a breezy black skirt, though in photos, the items were barely visible.
She also paired her multi-pattern coat with black leather knee-high boots with pointed toes, black-and-brown oval sunglasses, and tiny silver hoop earrings. Jenner left her straight her down and seemed to wear minimal makeup for the evening out.
The model's outing came two days after she showed off one of her most daring designer looks at the 2023 Met Gala. Jenner, who went viral last year for stepping out in a pair of sheer tights and no pants, also embraced the no-pants trend for fashion's biggest night. The look was a black Marc Jacobs bodysuit dripping in sequins—it included extra-long sleeves with white quilted lining that trailed behind her like a split cape as she walked. She wore her hair up in a high ponytail and added even more drama to the ensemble with a pair of lace-up platform boots, glittering earrings by Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry, and sheer Wolford tights.
