Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream Vegan

By now, any beauty buff worth their salt knows about stem cell scientist, Augustinus Bader and his miracle-working products. For those who don’t, this new vegan upgrade to the brand’s cult moisturiser, The Rich Cream, is as good an introduction as you could ever wish for. Originally released in 2018, the brand has reimagined its transformative ingredient list so that it can be classed as vegan, while still packing a punch. In clinical trials, the brand’s upgraded formula improved skin hydration by a whopping 145 per cent. An investment for sure, but worth every single penny.

Tan-Luxe Super Gloss

Given that life may well be returning to its former self in the not-too distant future, we need to be thinking of how we can fake our glows like we really, really mean it. After all, one entire year spent in the confines of our own homes has done nothing for our complexions. It’s time to bring in the big dogs; enter, the new Super Gloss bronzing drops from Tan-Luxe. Not only do they impart a deliciously sun-kissed faux glow, but the serum also has SPF 30 and a hydrating combination of both hyaluronic and squalene. It is wonderful and very much worth joining the waiting list for.

Omorovicza Midnight Renewal

Hands up if you’ve been dabbling in the retinol realm during lockdown. For those who have been flirting with it, but have found their skin has reacted badly, then Omorovicza’s new Midnight Renewal is for you. Its key ingredient is Retinal, a strain of Vitamin A that is supposedly 11 times more effective than classic retinol, and offers the same smoothing that the more well-known powerhouse ingredient does, but specifically for sensitive skin. Don’t just take it from me: in the brand’s own clinical trials, it found that 93 per cent of people agreed that their skin felt smoother and 90 per cent agreed it felt more nourished.

St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Ultimate Glow Kit

I am a certified bronzing buff. I know my way around a good self-tanner the way I know the back of my hand. And this latest offering from St. Tropez is a veritable pack-leader. With a whipped mousse-like texture, the tan applies evenly and in the most sumptuous golden shade. It also comes with a bevy of hyaluronic acid to hydrate and vitamin E to condition skin. The included mitt is also worth mentioning; velvety soft, and spreads the tan evenly and perfectly.

Hermès H24

Hermès, purveyor of some of the most delicious scents in the game (Twilly d’Hermès and Un Jardin En Mediterranee, I’m looking at you), has debuted its latest scent, H24, and it is summer escapism bottled. With top notes of clary sage combined with narcissus and rosewood, the fragrance is utterly moreish. H24 is also the brand’s first major men’s fragrance launch since Terre d’Hermès in 2006. I don’t prescribe to the idea of gent’s scents - I think most are unisex and subjective to your own tastes - and this is no exception. I’ve worn H24 consistently since receiving it and think it’s sublime. It’s a yes from me.

Modern Botany Multi-Purpose Oil

Sometimes, all you need is a one-size-fits-all hard-working product that pulls its weight. Irish brand Modern Botany’s Multi-Purpose Oil offers precisely that. Featuring a heady ingredient list like the anti-inflammatory, omega-3 fatty acid-rich flaxseed oil and lignans, I keep the oil never out of arms reach. I use it on my cuticles, hands, face or hair whenever they’re in need of a bit of love. It’s brilliant and smells even better too.
