At Buc-ee’s, you never know what (or who!) you’ll see.

This past weekend, at a Buc-ee’s location off LPGA Boulevard in Daytona Beach, Florida, shoppers were surprised to see a very familiar face perusing the aisles of the South’s Best Travel Stop: rock legend Lenny Kravitz.

In a video posted to Kravitz’s Instagram account, the musician walked into Buc-ee’s and posed for photos around the store with fans, notably in front of Buc-ee’s bakery section (wherein lay their signature kolaches). He shook hands, gave hugs, and grabbed a bag of Buc-ee’s Beaver Nuggets (caramel-coated corn puffs). In what may have been the most relatable part of his video, Lenny walked back to his tour bus carrying several bags worth of Buc-ee’s merchandise with a big smile on his face. He captioned the video: “First time at @bucees... So many smiling faces and warm hearts. We are all #Human. See you on the road!”

Lucky fans who happened to be at Buc-ee’s at the same time mentioned how kind Kravitz was. As reported by The Daytona Beach News-Journal, Danielle Fatigate and her nine-year-old son were among the few of those who got photos. “The singer was very soft-spoken and ‘super sweet,’ she added. ‘I told him, 'God bless you' and he gave me a hug.’"

Those who missed the rockstar’s appearance took to social media for some hilarious reactions to his visit. “I would have perished right in front of the wall of jerky,” commented Instagram user @farahrochon. Fellow musician @Omarian chimed in: “The best times are at the pit stops. 🚍💪🏾” And of course, the Texans came out in full force to proclaim their renewed love for Buc-ee’s. Instagram user @chef2thestars commented: “As a Texas girl, this brings me JOY!!!! Yesssssss Lenny, LIVE!!!! 😍🔥”

It seems like Buc-ee’s gained a new fan this week—we’re sure the trip won’t be Kravitz’s last after tasting those Beaver Nuggets. Next time, Lenny, might we also recommend a Dr Pepper Icee?
