Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff Reportedly Break Up
After over five years of dating, Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff have officially split, according to a source at E! News.
The source said the breakup was mutual, explaining, "Jack and Lena were growing apart and it just made sense for them to end their relationship where it was."
Dunham, who created and starred in Girls, and Antonoff, who recently co-produced Taylor Swift's Reputation, first started dating in 2012. The two had spoken about marriage before, saying they would wait for gay marriage to be legal in all 50 states before they would tie the knot.
Dunham also recently wrote about Antonoff for Variety's 2017 New Power of New York List. The actress wrote, "It’s safe to say that before Jack my life was full of far fewer sights." She also tweeted back in November that she thought Antonoff was planning a proposal for her, but he was actually "talking shit" about her:
