From Cosmopolitan

  • Lena Dunham and Brad Pitt went to the UK premiere of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

  • She gave him a kiss that has Twitter asking questions.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Jed-Wyatt-is-the-worst programming to bring you a few separate but equally confusing photos of Lena Dunham kissing Brad Pitt. What a day, amirite?

While you were going about your day, some photos of Lena and Brad at their Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere surfaced. In them, you can see Lena noticing Brad while he notices director Quentin Tarantino while Leonardo DiCaprio notices a little white fluff floating off in the distance, probably. By the look on Lena’s face, it was clear she was about to head over to Brad, and when she did, something very interesting happened that has the internet a little confused.

When she went up to Brad, she went straight in for a kiss somewhere between his cheek and his lips. Honestly, it could’ve been a whisper, but only Brad and Lena share that knowledge now.

A quick play-by-play:

And here’s a quick recap of Twitter’s thoughts on all that:

Before you draw conclusions, in all fairness, this could just be an awkward still taken while she tried to give him one of those ~fancy~ double kisses. It’s hard to tell. Also, Brad could be totally fine with this for all we know, so it’s a big \_(ツ)_/¯.

The last time Lena and Brad made headlines together was when they filmed Once Upon a Time in Hollywood last year and the paparazzi snapped her “flashing” Brad her underwear. Here’s her explanation of the moment that was def not part of the movie’s final cut:

“That was between takes, [with] him trying to sort of chill and brush up on his lines. It made sense in the moment. We were talking about kewpie dolls. Do you guys know what a kewpie doll is? It’s like an illustrated character of the 1920s. Someone asked, ‘What’s a kewpie doll?’ and I said, ‘Well, I can show you. I’ve got one right here on my side.’...If you’ve got it illustrated on your body, who are you not to show this?”

Again, no word on what Brad thinks. Lena also joked that her publicist told her not to do it again while talking to Jimmy Kimmel on his show and said, “I want to do it really bad right now!” Ha. Interesting.
