POV: it’s September, the most appropriate time to rewatch Gossip Girl for the millionth time, and Leighton Meester seemingly celebrated the drop in temperatures with the ultimate ode to her famous character, Blair Waldorf.

On Tuesday, the actress gave a masterclass in transitional dressing, while channeling her iconic character (sans the statement headband). While arriving at Calzedonia’s A Legs Celebration Event in Milan, Meester stepped out in a super-short A-line dress by Magda Butrym in a pale gray shade with a plunging halter neckline. In true Blair fashion, the star paired her look with black tights and matching patent-leather Manolo Blahnik pumps. For a pop of color, she carried a bold red BY FAR handbag, which effortlessly matched her manicure, and added a pair of diamond stud earrings.

Beauty-wise, Meester pulled her brown hair back into a tousled bun with wispy forehead fringe, while pink lipgloss, rosy cheeks, and shimmery eyeshadow topped off her glowing complexion.

When Meester isn’t channeling the grown-up of version of her Gossip Girl character, she’s busy raising her two children, daughter Arlo and son whose name has yet to be revealed, with her husband Adam Brody.

"It's all just so intimate and private,” she shared with People. “It's something that I could never put into words, really. It's such an emotional journey to have children, and it certainly has made me reflect on my own upbringing and childhood.”

She continued, "Having children, I want to give them all that we never had when we were growing up, but also to be candid and open about how grateful we should be for everything that we have."
