Hollywood's favorite unproblematic couple has just emerged for one of their rare, once-in-a-blue-moon red-carpet appearances.
Yesterday, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody made for a dashing duo at the New York City premiere of FX's Fleishman Is in Trouble, a new drama based on a novel by the same. Brody stars in the miniseries, along with co-stars Claire Danes, Jesse Eisenberg, and Lizzy Caplan.
For the occasion, the Gossip Girl alum embraced an autumnal color scheme in a chocolate brown velvet slip dress, which featured a sand-colored cowl neckline and multi-toned floral adornments all over. She finished off the ensemble with metallic gold strappy heels and mini gold hoop earrings.
Meanwhile, Brody looked suave in a teal suit, which he wore with a light blue speckled button-up, a dark blue tie, and black leather dress shoes.
The couple—who got married in a secret ceremony in 2014 and have since welcomed two kids—are known for keeping a low-key profile and living their personal lives largely out of the spotlight. They last walked a red carpet together back in 2019, when they attended a Los Angeles screening of Ready or Not.
Despite how much they value privacy, Brody did offer a rare glimpse into his marriage with Meester while speaking on Anna Faris's podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, earlier this year.
"I was very attracted to her from the jump. She's a heavenly creature. I thought she was gorgeous," he said of his initial impression of Meester. "And come to find out she's literally like Joan of Arc. She is the strongest, best person I know. She is my moral compass and North Star, and I just can't say enough good things about her character. It's crazy."
