LEGOLAND NY Is Gearing Up For Its 2021 Grand Opening After Postponing It Due To The Pandemic

From Delish

For thrill-seekers in this region, there are only a handful of theme parks to choose from. And for those who want to visit a park that is kid-friendly? There are even fewer options...until now. LEGOLAND NY has been in the works for some time, but it had to postpone its 2020 grand opening due to the pandemic. The amusement park plans to open this year now, though, and recently installed its entrance to gear up for the debut.

LEGOLAND NY will be located right outside of New York City in the Hudson Valley. Its opening will mark the first major theme park to grace the Northeast in over four decades and its attractions are appropriate for children ages two-to-12 years old.

While the accompanying LEGOLAND Hotel is still under construction, a spokesperson for LEGOLAND confirmed that the amusement park itself will feature 50 rides, shows, and attractions for adults and children alike to enjoy. This New York location will also be home to water rides and the first of its kind LEGO Factory Adventure Ride. Also, if LEGOLAND Florida is any indication, we can be sure that LEGOLAND NY will have a bunch of must-try foods and beverages as well.

There is no exact date as to when the grand opening of LEGOLAND NY will happen, but it was previously stated that the park was aiming for early 2021. You can learn more about buying tickets, signing up for annual passes, and planning a trip at the LEGOLAND NY website here.
