Lego Just Released a Disney ‘The Haunted Mansion’ Set for Scary-Good Building

Disney’s The Haunted Mansion (2003) is just the kind of family fun film to watch around Halloween to bring on the spookiness. The horror comedy movie has inspired a new Lego building set, so you can have your own mini replica of the haunted house and ride you’d find at Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland.

The real magic happens in the details, and there are plenty to behold here. The set consists of mostly green, white, and brown pieces to build the mansion. From the back, you’re able to see part of the interior, which includes the dining room, a chandelier, and a gallery. There are even paintings of the Hitchhiking Ghosts, Madame Leota, and the Gravekeeper. To complete the set, there’s a Butler minifigure with a green and purple suit and dark undereye detail.
The Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion set launched on Lego.com on Aug. 1 for $39.99, so you can be among the first to get it. It includes 680 pieces and was designed for people ages 12 and up. The final display will stand at about 5.5 inches tall by 4.7 inches wide by 4.7 inches deep. It might not be a bad idea to make it part of your Halloween decor this year!
The miniature build-and-display model can be enjoyed beyond Halloween, but it’s especially appropriate for the terrifying time of year. We wonder if Lego has any other spooky surprises up its sleeve …
