During last night's NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis, the league’s best and brightest were out in full force. Damian Lillard dropped 39 to lead the East to victory, and a slew of records were set along the way: a new all-time highest points total; the most all-time three pointers (42!); and a new all-time high for points recorded in a single half, which is especially insane when you consider how many shots came from so deep they neared half-court.

Maybe even more impressive than the play on the court? The sneakers the stars did it in: pretty much everyone rolled up in something special, showing off special editions of their signature performance shoes or making a statement in a classic colorway from the past. These were our favorite kicks from the NBA All-Star Game 2024.

Stephen Curry — Under Armour Curry 4 “NBA Jam”

Steph Curry’s line of Under Armour sneakers has never quite caught fire with sneakerheads, though they've always been considered a sturdy and reliable performance shoe. The just-released “NBA Jam” Curry 4, however, might be the Warriors great's first release to make a true lifestyle crossover, successfully combining the silhouette's technical prowess with a vibrant, nostalgic aesthetic that hits all the right buttons.

Anthony Edwards — Adidas AE 1 “All-Star”

The debut signature shoe from red-hot Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, the Adidas AE 1 is sneakily one of the best basketball shoes on the market—sleek and streamlined and totally original. Its colorways thus far, however, have left something to be desired, so it’s exciting to see Adidas drop a new “All-Star” edition that finally lives up to the silhouette's promise.

Jalen Brunson — Nike Kobe 4 “Gold Medal”

Jalen Brunson has been leading the Knicks to one of their best seasons in recent memory, teaming up with the recently acquired OG Anunoby to make New York a serious contender in the East. He celebrated his breakout season with a thoughtful homage to one of his idols, Kobe Bryant, donning the iconic “Gold Medal” Kobe 4s.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — Converse All-Star BB Trilliant CX

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the face of a brand-new Converse campaign that kicked off this weekend, bringing back the classic Converse Weapon in sleek black and white colorways. But for the All-Star Game, Shai went in another direction, wearing a mismatched, rainbow-hued “All-Star” makeup of the Trilliant CX. It was loud, out there, and totally Shai—worthy of the best-dressed player in the NBA two years running.

Kevin Durant — KD 4 “Galaxy”

Nike recently reissued this classic KD colorway, featuring a slick, throwback space theme in homage to the Kennedy Space Center. The longtime sneakerhead favorites looked as dazzling on Durant’s feet this weekend as they did upon their debut at the All-Star Game in Orlando way back in 2012.

Devin Booker — Nike Book 1 “Mirage”

Devin Booker’s debut Nike signature has been shown off in some truly inspired makeups this season, but its first commercially available version—the “Mirage” in light ivory—looked disappointingly plain to some fans. Turns out, that was a false alarm: the colorway looked outstanding on the court, understated and tasteful and perfectly calibrated for the Book 1's retro aesthetic.

LeBron James — Nike LeBron 21 “DT Max 96”

Now this was an interesting one: LeBron James celebrated his 21st All-Star appearance with a custom edition of his signature Nike LeBron 21 modeled on the Air DT Max '96—otherwise known as the Diamond Turf 3—the signature shoe of the one and only Deion Sanders. (Nike announced the return of the DT Max 96 last month, after Sanders re-signed with the brand.) No word yet on whether these are one-of-a-kind or if we’ll be seeing them soon on store shelves, but we are very much hoping for the latter.
