LeBron James’ Son Wears Kyrie Irving’s Nike Signature Shoe On First Day Of School
LeBron James Jr. is shaping up to be a basketball star like his dad, but that doesn’t mean he wants to dress like him, too.
James Jr. (known as Bronny) headed off for his first day of sixth grade today. Instead of wearing his dad’s signature shoe for Nike, he wore fellow Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving’s Nike Kyrie 2 signature shoe, ESPN’s Darren Rovell pointed out. Bryce, Bronny’s younger brother, wore the LeBron Soldier 10 in white, which his father wore during some games of the 2016 NBA championship series.
It turns out Bronny isn’t the only one who doesn’t always want to wear his dad’s latest signature shoe. Chris Paul’s son Chris Jr. decided not to wear his father’s newest Jordan signature shoe, the CP3.IX, and went with a pair of LeBron Soldier 10s.
Paul’s wife is willing to match with her husband — he shared a snap recently of the two wearing Jordans.
