LeBron Gifts Exclusive Shoes to WNBA's A’ja Wilson

Last year's WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, are looking to lock down back-to-back championships as they head into the WNBA Finals against the New York Liberty. Considering this year's Finals had the most-watched Game 1 since 2000, there are many eyes on the Las Vegas Aces, especially on No. 22, two-time WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson.

Thankfully, one Wilson fan hooked the power forward up with some exclusive new shoes. And that fan just so happens to be a basketball player themselves—a fella by the name of LeBron James.

The Las Vegas Aces posted a series of photos on their Instagram of Wilson practicing, with the simple caption, "😮💨 these are tuff." Of course, it was hard not to notice Wilson's striking black and gold shoes on the court.

SneakerNews.com quickly identified the pair of kicks as a "Player Exclusive edition of the Nike LeBron 21." They note that Wilson had sported "the Beaverton brand’s Nike Cosmic Unity 3 throughout the 2023 season before making a switch to the LeBron 20." And since James debuted the silhouette of the 21 just last month, it stands to reason that he'd want to make sure Wilson had the most up-to-date model as she hits the paint throughout these next few games.

So when you watch the WNBA Finals, watch the Aces side to see if you can spot the LeBron 21s. While on the New York Liberty's side, you'll likely spot some of Nike's Sabrina 1s since those are the signature shoes of the Liberty's very own Sabrina Ionescu.

It's going to be a real shoe-centric showdown, is what we're getting at.
