If anyone's having fun with style lately, it's Laura Dern. To wear a floor-length, bright-orange Zimmermann dress is a bold move that many couldn't — or would not dare to — pull off. The dress, which could've easily gone "Little House on the Prairie" had it been any other neutral color, looks especially stylish on the actress as she attended Netflix's "Marriage Story' premiere in Los Angeles on Nov. 5.

With a full-coverage silhouette that included flared sleeves and a high neck, Zimmermann's signature crotchet design was fully highlighted. And since a dress like this speaks for itself, there was no need for excess embellishment. Dern (with help from stylist Cristina Ehrlich) paired it with minimal accessories: a gold necklace and tan suede boots that made the entire ensemble feel more "chic hippie" rather than "your grandma's table cloth."

Her hair was parted down the middle, leaning into an effortless California beach girl vibe, complete with subtle makeup featuring a soft pink lip.
