Leave it to Isamaya Ffrench to Make the Most NSFW Lipstick We've Ever Seen

The visionary makeup artist freaked it (literally).

Makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench has taken the old advertising adage "sex sells" and put a rather literal spin on it: The latest capsule collection for her eponymous makeup brand, dubbed "Lips," brings phallic imagery to the world of color cosmetics. The collection, which debuts Thursday, features two re-fillable lipsticks — reportedly inspired by the "post-Italian Renaissance male form" — housed in tubes shaped like, yes, penises.

"Isamaya is about elevating the artistry in the products we love, both in concept and design," says Ffrench in a press release. "I always pursue originality and risk taking with an authentic and unapologetic approach to beauty and image making."

There are two lipsticks in the collection: Cardinal, a vibrant red shade that comes encased in a metallic, chrome-plated packaging; and Vanity, a balm that appears black in its sleek gunmetal container but goes on clear. The Brancusi-meets-sex-toy-looking lipstick cases weigh in at nearly 10 ounces each (aka, they're very heavy, size does matter, etc. etc.) and retail for $95. User discretion is advised, as the general American population may be quick to side-eye the product if seen being used in public.

This isn't the first time Ffrench has brought NSFW visuals to the makeup scene. She played around with the concept of BDSM for her brand's "Industrial" collection, which featured mascara and serums topped with silver ring "piercings."

For "Lips," the brand tapped Malaysian photographer Zhong Lin to shoot a campaign featuring aptly sensual close-ups of the products, starring models Ajok Deng and Kairi Tokoro.
