While all Disney parks remain closed, the Disney magic is never ending. Right now, from the comfort of your couch, you can experience the thrills of some of the parks' biggest attractions with these virtual rides. But if you're looking to pass your time in a more creative way—and maybe even learn how to design a ride yourself—we found the perfect resources to turn you into a Disney artist in no time.

Disney Parks Blog published a new post last week that features a complete series of how-to videos on drawing none other than the iconic Mickey Mouse. While these videos are published on YouTube, they are unlisted, which means you have to visit the blog post for the direct link. The tutorials are all led by Disney cast member Stephen Ketchum, who teaches viewers how to sketch the iconic mouse throughout all his glory-filled years. From the original vintage 1920s Mickey to contemporary Mickey to "pied-eyed" Mickey, viewers can learn all the tips and tricks on sketching the main mouse himself. Disney Parks Blogs also offers links to other character drawing tutorials such as "Learn How to Draw Frozen's Anna" and "Learn How to Draw Winnie the Pooh."

Now, if you've ever dreamed of being an Imagineer (aka the masterminds who dream, design, and build Disney theme parks, attractions, cruise ships, etc.) there are also courses available for that. A free online bundle called Imagineering In a Box takes users step-by-step through all the different aspects of theme park design. From characters to ride development, users will design a theme park of their very own as they progress throughout the program. Lessons will focus on topics like landscape and plant design, ride simulation, and introduction to character design. Each interactive lesson is taught by a Disney or Pixar Imagineer. The 32-lesson course, brought to us from Pixar and Khan Academy, a non-profit educational organization, will surely keep you busy as we wait for the parks to re-open.
