LeAnn Rimes welcomed her 40th birthday with stunning scenery, plenty of baked goods and her loved ones by her side.
The country singer celebrated the milestone birthday on Sunday, Aug. 28, but she was so tuned into the celebrations, she didn’t share any updates on social media until a few days later.
Set to the tune of Lizzo’s “Birthday Girl,” the Instagram post features a video round-up of all the birthday festivities.
It kicked off with Rimes' friend surprising her with a confetti cannon before switching to picturesque scenery as the star giddily danced on a boat.
There's also some footage of Rimes hitting the trails with her dog and passionately kissing her husband, Eddie Cibrian.
The Grammy-winning singer also squeezed in a little workout before indulging in plenty of delicious meals, along with doughnuts and cake.
The wishes poured into the comment section immediately, with actress Izabella Miko writing, “Happy Birthday You Shining Light!!!”
Kristin McGee, a yoga instructor, added, “Hey birthday girl fellow Virgo ♍️ hope you had an amazing week!”
Many fans simply enjoyed seeing Rimes celebrate her special day in a special way, with comments ranging from “Do it up Queen” to “I love how much you are living it up!!”
The “How Do I Live” singer previously told People that she was excited for the birthday, noting, "We have three celebrations planned."
"I'm at that point where I'm seriously ready. I'm over my thirties. Let's get to 40," she admitted.
She recalled thinking that 40 was “so old” as a child, adding, "but now that I'm there, I feel like I have so much life under my belt. I'm much wiser. I wouldn't be 22 again if you paid me!"
