LeAnn Rimes just announced some major career news, and we couldn't be more excited! Rimes will be taking a seat in The Voice Australia's iconic red chairs this season as a coach.

Rimes, 41, will work alongside returning coach Guy Sebastian and new additions Adam Lambert and Kate Miller-Heidke. Season 12 coaches Jason Derulo, Jessica Mauboy, and Rita Ora will not be returning to The Voice AU this year.

Rimes addressed the exciting news on her TikTok account, writing: "the roo's out of the pouch… 🦘🇦🇺 I have been keeping this secret for long enough and I'm so excited [to] share the news that I'll be joining @The Voice Australia coach team alongside @guysebastian, @Adam Lambert & Kate Miller-Heidke. Time to get to work on my chair spins 🚨."

Rimes' video shows her prepping for coaching in Australia by eating Tim Tams and working on her chair spin. "I'm looking forward to it, I can't wait to see you guys it's been a really long time, and can't wait to discover new talents," Rimes said.

Fans are obviously thrilled with the news.

"I’m so happy your coming to my beautiful country I cannot wait to watch you on the voice," one wrote on TikTok. "So excited," said another. "I can't wait for the moonlight coming to Australia," someone else commented.

No premiere date has been announced just yet, but producers promise the premiere will be sometime in 2024. Though, filming for The Voice Australia begins in just two short weeks. "I am incredibly honored and excited to embrace the opportunity of coaching on The Voice. The special chance to mentor and discover new voices throughout Australia is a reflection of the love and support I've received from my Australian fans throughout my career. I look forward to returning the love, sharing my experiences, and hearing fresh, promising talent," Rimes concluded in a statement.

Unfortunately for LeAnn Rimes fans here in the United States, The Voice Australia is only on cable networks in Australia and New Zealand. However, you can catch clips of LeAnn in action on The Voice Australia's YouTube channel from anywhere.
