Lea Michele’s new hair color is low-key summer perfection

When it comes to celebrity hair color, the sky (or at least, the strength of your hair cuticle) is the limit. Celebs like Dakota Fanning have recently given us reason to swoon over the most perfect dusty pink color in the history of dusty pink, and Emmy-nominated Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams showed us winter was coming with her cool, midnight blue-hued hair. But sometimes when it comes to a new look, less can totally be more.

Case in point? Everyone’s favorite diva Lea Michele just debuted a gorgeous new summer ‘do. But instead of candy colors or edgy undercuts, the Scream Queens star is keeping it simple by going back to basics. She debuted her new color on Instagram, and we have to say we’re moderately obsessed. The base is a rich, buttery brunette and there are the PERFECT amount of balayage to add dimension and that hard-to-achieve sun-kissed look.

I mean, just check out that color! Those waves! That length! It’s kind of as though a magical fairy just came down from heaven and gave her Disney princess hair.

In case you wondered what Lea’s hair looked like before, it was much more blonde for summer, but still totally glorious.

It just proves that in terms of hair (or SoulCycle obsession) Ms. Michele can do no wrong.
