Lea Michele Confirmed Her Pregnancy With a Stunning Baby-Bump Pic
It's (Instagram) official: Lea Michele is expecting her first child with husband Zandy Reich.
Last week, reports surfaced that the former Glee star was pregnant. “They’ve always wanted to be parents,” a source told People. Michele confirmed the news on May 2, posting a photo to Instagram of her baby bump. "So grateful 💛," she wrote. The sweet image shows her wearing a blue maxidress, gazing lovingly at her stomach and barefoot in the grass, presumably wherever she and Reich are riding out quarantine.
Michele's famous friends immediately weighed in on her happy news. "Love you !!! 💙💗💙," Jamie Lynn Sigler wrote. "Counting down the minutes until this little nugget joins the family ❤️ love you," JoAnna Garcia Swisher added. Her Glee costar Naya Rivera said, "Aww congrats! I love this. You're going to be a great mommy! 🤗" And an enthusiastic Emma Roberts, who appeared with Michele in Scream Queens, commented, "Crying! Screaming! Love you!"
Fans were very excited, as well. "I was hoping the rumours were true. This genuinely warms my heart. I am so happy for you Lea," one wrote in the comments. "Omg 13 year old / current me is crying," another wrote.
Michele and Reich were first rumored to be a couple back in 2017 before eventually walking down the aisle last year in front of guests including Roberts, Darren Criss, and Becca Tobin. “We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family,” they told People at the time. “And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.”
There's no word yet on a due date or whether the baby is a boy or a girl—but congratulations to Michele and Reich! Something tells me that baby is going to have a beautiful voice.
