Lea Michele Announces Her Second Pregnancy by Baring Her Baby Bump in Radiant Maternity Photos

Ever Leo is about to get a new duet partner! Lea Michele announced today that she is pregnant with baby number two, and she shared the loveliest maternity photos to celebrate.
The Glee star, who shares 3-and-a-half-year-old Ever with husband Zandy Reich, posted ethereal new pictures today that showed her bare baby bump. “Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed, 💛” she captioned the post on Instagram. In the photos, Michele is wearing white underwear and a long white cardigan that is open in the front to show her growing bump. Her hands are resting on it as she smiles down for the sweet pictures.

The comments were full of well-wishers, including Ashley Tisdale (who announced her second pregnancy yesterday!) who wrote, “So excited for this beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️.”
Zooey Deschanel wrote, “Congratulations!!!” Someone else said, “omg screaming and crying, SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU 🥹🥹🥹🥹”
The Funny Girl Broadway star welcomed her firstborn son Ever in Aug. 2020. Last year, her baby had a “scary health issue” and she had to take time off to take him to the hospital. She returned to work, only to have to go to the hospital again soon after. “Today was a hard day. As parents we have to be strong for our kids. But sometimes you just want to break down and cry (Hidden in the bathroom or closet is usually best. Today I chose hospital bathroom),” she wrote on Instagram.
“These hard times show you truly what matters and is important in life and how much we have to be grateful for. It’s been hard to say the least but our boy is such a champ and is going to be ok. But it still hurts.”
She told PEOPLE in April 2023, “Ever’s doing good. He’s doing well. We still have a little bit of a long road ahead of us here, but he’s doing well, thank God, and healthy.”
A few months later, Michele shared photos of Ever’s Paw Patrol themed birthday party, per Entertainment Tonight, and wrote on Instagram, “Happy 3rd Birthday to our beautiful son! Ever we love you so much!”

The Scream Queens star welcomed baby Ever during the pandemic, which gave her time to focus on recovery. She told Yahoo! Live in 2022, “If we weren’t quarantining, [I’d be] getting back to work and just having to look the exact same way that you did before — it’s unbelievable what our bodies do when they’re pregnant.”
Michele continued, “I had a really challenging pregnancy and a really intense labor and my recovery for my C-section was very challenging. You can’t move a lot for days after. And I had complications that extended that time. So I can’t imagine the pressure that I would’ve felt knowing that I can’t really physically move, but I have this pressure to get back into shape.”
Hopefully she has a much easier experience with pregnancy and childbirth this time around — although, we are fans of not pressuring ourselves to get “back into shape” after having a baby no matter what!
