The FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is coming to the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming service Max in 2024. The races will be a part of the B/R Sports add-on for the app, which is available at an additional $9.99/month fee.

Broadcasts of qualifying, pre-race coverage, post-race, and all eight live races will air on the app throughout the 2024 season. Additionally, races will still be available on the Motor Trend app (also owned by Warner Bros. Discovery) and some sessions, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will still be broadcast on the Motor Trend TV cable network.

While the deal is not quite as useful as a straightforward agreement with Max or a bigger opportunity for the race to air on a major network, it should at least make the world's biggest endurance race more accessible to American fans. Existing B/R Sports add-on subscribers will also have these races put in front of them while scrolling to watch other events, increasing visibility of the Europe-based world sports car series.

Eighteen GT3 cars and 19 Hypercars will compete in the 2024 FIA WEC season, including new prototypes from Lamborghini, BMW, and Alpine. Those cars will join returning prototypes from Porsche, Cadillac, Toyota, Ferrari, and Peugeot to make up the biggest and most competitive group of factory-backed top-class cars competing for the overall win at Le Mans in decades. The WEC season gets underway with a race at Qatar on March 2, while the 24 Hours of Le Mans is set to be held on June 15.
