From Town & Country

Though everyone is staying home this holiday season, the next few weeks can still be festive and, yes, boozy. To properly prepare our Christmas cocktails, we asked a few holiday experts for their favorite recipes. Celebrity stylist and HBO Max Legendary judge Law Roach, who has previously styled Céline Dion, Zendaya, and T&C's September 2020 Kerry Washington cover story, provided instructions to make his special Eggnog Amaretto. Adding to our compilation, Insecure stars Yvonne Orji and Jay Ellis shared their favorite holiday cocktails.

The trio is starring in the new digital series, Holiday Best, which follows each celeb as they prepare for the holidays in the midst of our new normal. Like most of us, Roach, Orji, and Ellis are embracing this unusual holiday season with the help of a strong drink. Below, find their favorite festive cocktail recipes.

Law Roach's Eggnog Amaretto

"The eggnog makes you feel like a kid again… but the booze reminds you you’re an adult," Roach tells T&C. "It’s creamy, luscious, and so easy to drink that you’ll be in the holiday spirit in no time."

Jay Ellis's Holiday Punch

"A good cocktail is a must for the holidays in my house! Normally I love whipping out my big punchbowl for everyone to share and enjoy together, but since I won’t be gathering with all of my loved ones this year, I’m going to do it a little different, but to keep the tradition alive, I’m still celebrating the best of the season with some homemade punch," Ellis tells T&C. "My top secret holiday recipe uses Grey Goose vodka, pomegranate juice, sweetened tea, and Prosecco—because you’ve got to have some bubbles! It’s quick, it’s easy and it pairs great with whatever you’re cooking."

Single Serve:

- 1 ½ oz Grey Goose vodka
- ½ oz pomegranate juice
- 1 oz sweetened black tea
- 1 oz Martini & Rossi prosecco

Directions:

Combine in a rocks glass over ice and top with prosecco. Garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel.

- 11 oz pomegranate juice
