'Law & Order: SVU' Star Mariska Hargitay Shares Sweet Vacation Photos for Peter Hermann's Birthday

While fans may be fully invested in the romantic life of Mariska Hargitay’s character Olivia Benson, her real-life relationship with Peter Hermann is just as swoon-worthy.
In fact, Hargitay recently celebrated their love while wishing her partner-in-crime a happy birthday.
The Law & Order: SVU actress shared two vacation photos of herself with the Younger alum on Instagram to commemorate his 55th birthday.
"Happy birthday to my guy," the 58-year-old star captioned the photos, adding, “In it with you forever.”
In the first snap, the couple—donning matching fedoras—have their backs turned to the camera as they gaze into each other's eyes. As they stand in shin-deep water, they are surrounded by bright blue skies and striking mountains.
The second photo finds the love birds taking a dip together as they beam at the camera. As Hermann relaxes in the water, Hargitay stays afloat using an inner tube.
The comment section quickly flooded with birthday wishes and supportive messages.
“Just the most darling couple,” one wrote, while another added that Hermann is the “the luckiest man on earth.” Another shared that they are “still believing in love thank[s] to you two guys.”
Hargitay and Hermann have been married since 2004 and share three children—August, 16, Amaya, 11 and Andrew, 10.
The couple met while Hermann was a guest star on SVU, and though he has a successful acting career, he has reprised his character, attorney Trevor Langan, on the crime drama many times since.
