No Olivia Benson here, only Mariska Hargitay in a breathtaking ballgown — the Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star just traded her usual business suit uniform for something more red-carpet ready.

On November 7, the 58-year-old actress dressed to the nines for the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards, where she wore a design by her dear friend and fashion mogul Christian Siriano. Looking like a vision in black, the mermaid dress hugged the NBC star's curves as a train of tulle completed the hourglass illusion. She styled the outfit with bejeweled bracelets while opting for her signature messy curls and sultry kohl eyeliner.

What's more, Mariska channeled her inner model by striking a fierce pose with the NYC skyline as her background. She shared the elegant look on Instagram and wrote: "@csiriano You thrill me #CFDAAwards #PetersPics."

Law and Order: SVU fans praised the actress' confidence, clearly solidifying her place on their best-dressed lists. "Oh, Mariska!!! You did not come to play games. You look absolutely INCREDIBLE!" one person wrote. "SLAY QUEEEEEENNNNN!!!!" another added. "This is such a romantic photo 🖤," a different fan said.

Others caught the subtle nod she gave to her husband of 18 years, Peter Hermann. "#PetersPics for the win! Mrs. Hermann, we bow down to you, icon! 👑," a follower commented. "Peter sure knows how to capture your endless beauty! I’m just speechless! You look absolutely gorgeous!! 😍❤️," someone else chimed in.

Considering he mainly keeps behind the scenes on his wife's social media, it's likely the Younger actor also captured another beautiful moment amidst the celebration. That night, a video posted on Instagram showed the actress twirling around in the figure-hugging dress. For full effect, she played the stunning moment in dramatic slow motion.

We'd like to personally thank Peter for documenting this serve!
