Lauren Conrad’s life is about to get a lot more chaotic. On October 8th, the lifestyle expert, fashion designer, author, and television personality and her husband William Tell welcomed their second son, Charlie Wolf, who joins his two-year-old big brother Liam James. Unflappable go-getter that she is, Conrad took it all in stride—and wasted no time offering the world a glimpse into the new nursery where she’ll be spending most of her days (and nights!) for the foreseeable future. No surprise here: It’s a neutral haven that blends all we’ve come to expect from the stylish entrepreneur.

Created in partnership with the designers at Pure Salt Interiors in Laguna Beach, California, the room is light and airy, a cocoon of coziness that’s sure to bring her as much serenity as she can muster. “We started working on the nursery before we knew if we were having a boy or a girl, so we wanted to keep it gender neutral,” Conrad told PEOPLE magazine, where you can check out exclusive photos of the space.

That meant using lots of natural texture and beach-inspired accents. A muted banana leaf motif on the walls offsets stark white flooring and creates a subtle contrasting backdrop for understated pieces, including a natural fiber rug, a beige armchair (smart move with the easy-to-clean slipcover!), and a white crib.

For unique accessories with soul, Conrad turned to—where else?—The Little Market, the nonprofit fair-trade global emporium that she founded with Hannah Skvarla. Some of the pieces include an organic cotton quilt made by female artisans in India and a handwoven basket from Kenya. Want to get the look for yourself?
