If you’re a fan of Lauren Akins and Thomas Rhett’s love story (and who isn't?!), you won’t want to miss this.

On Wednesday, August 5, Lauren took to Instagram to promote her new book, Live in Love, which centers around her life—including how she met and fell in love with her 30-year-old country music star hubby. And, what better way to tease the release than by sharing their proposal story?

Lauren and Thomas Rhett were childhood sweethearts, and got married in 2012. They now share three children, Willa Gray, Ada James, and Lennon Love. Lauren took a trip down memory lane and shared a full excerpt of the sweet proposal scene from her book in a recent Instagram video post:

All of a sudden, Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight” started playing through the speakers. Thomas Rhett took my hands and looked into my eyes and said, ‘You know I love you so much, and I can’t imagine doing any of this without you.’ He let go of my hands and picked up the bottle of wine. He picked up a silver sharpie and wrote something on the label. ‘I’ve loved you since I was 15 years old and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’ He held up the bottle and I read his words: ‘Marry me?’ My stomach started doing backflips and my smile was so big it hurt my cheeks as I grabbed the bottle and wrote my response on the label, ‘Well duh, yes.’”

So, now that we’re all sobbing yet again over how precious these two are, let’s not forget: Lauren’s book—which is full of more stories like this—comes out on August 18 and is available for pre-order, now. To say that fans can’t contain their excitement is an understatement.

“Ugh this gonna be such an amazing book,” one Instagram user wrote amongst an array of heart emojis. “I’m so glad I preordered it back in May!”

“Pre-ordered months ago, can't wait to get my copy,” another chimed in, again with heart emojis flowing.

Now, if only the 18th would hurry up and get here!
