Laura Klein’s London Flat Is Colorful and Mid-Century Modern

If a home sticks with you, it’s got to mean there’s something more to it, right? When digital creator and stylist Laura Klein was looking to buy a home, she first toured a two-bedroom flat in East Dulwich, United Kingdom.
Klein continued to tour more homes and spent “endless hours scrolling on Rightmove and looking in estate agent windows.” But visions of life in the first flat she toured — with its clever floor plan and potential for gatherings in the large living room — kept coming to mind.
So Klein decided to go with her gut and bought the home in February 2021. Since moving in, she’s made the home a reflection of her experiences — the Scandinavian touches are from her time as a GANNI stylist and her love for mid-century modern furniture was passed down from her father who was an antiques dealer.
Klein still has projects that she wants to complete in the space, like updating the bathroom and the kitchen, but she’s created a colorful, happy space — and utilized her favorite room. “I love hosting, as mentioned, so this is perfect for that and the space and interior of it just brings me joy,” she says.
