Latrobe Art Center to host sampling of local cuisine, craft brews

May 10—Local cuisine and craft brewery and winery offerings will be in the spotlight when the Latrobe Art Center hosts "A Taste of the Neighborhood: Pizza, Brews & More."

The center's annual event for participants age 21 or older is set for 6 p.m. on May 17 in downtown Latrobe, at Ligonier and Main streets.

"This event is the perfect opportunity to help raise funds in support of the art center and support your local Latrobe businesses all while sampling wonderful food and beverages along the way," according to center Executive Director Michael Tusay.

Providing samples for the event will be All Saints Brewing Co., Chef Dato's Table, Fathead's Pizza & Grill, Four Seasons Brewing Co., Helltown Brewing, Jaffre's Stone Bar & Kitchen, Jioio's Pizza of Latrobe, Quinn Brewing Co., Raspberry Acres Winery by Electique, Ricolita's Café, Rusty Musket Distilling Co., Scotty G's Pizzeria, Sharky's Café, Touchdown Club ll and Latrobe Dairy Queen.

Music will be provided by the Pittsburgh-based The Adorabulls. According to its website, the group presents unique covers of popular party and dance tunes, combining multiple vocalists and instrumentation performed on accordion, ukulele and bass, all to the beat of a percussionist whose homemade drum kit was fashioned from an old suitcase.

Raffles also will be featured at the event.
