The Latest ‘MF GHOST’ Trailer Confirms October Premiere Date

Another official trailer for the MF Ghost anime has surfaced. Adapting from Shuuichi Shigeno’s namesake manga, the series serves as a sequel to the hugely successful, and era-defining Initial D. The cast list was previously announced in another trailer back in January, alongside key visuals.

Jam-packed with street-racing action, the new two-minute-long promotional trailer offers a closer peak at the context and thrill the series has to offer. More importantly, it also confirms MF Ghost’s official release date to be October 2023. The anime is set to premiere in Japan this Fall, where it will be aired across TOKYO MX, TV Aichi, YTV, RKD Mainichi Broadcasting, and Animax, to name a few. As of now, an international premiere date for overseas fans has yet to be announced.

In addition, the new preview also shares the official opening theme song, “JUNGLE FIRE feat. MOTSU” performed by Yu Serizawa. The Eurobeat track was played throughout the second half of the trailer and invokes a nostalgic mood that’s reminiscent of Initial D’s iconic soundtrack.
