It's Your Last Chance to Watch Friends on Netflix

If you have no New Year's Eve plans (or even if you do), might we suggest watching Friends on Netflix?

We know, we know, it doesn't sound like the most exciting way to end the year — the decade, in fact — but Tuesday will be the last chance you have to watch it on the platform. Starting the first day of 2020, all ten seasons of the show will be taken down from Netflix, and won't be available to stream anywhere else until Friends hits HBO Max in May 2020.

Until then, you can rent or buy individual seasons on places like Amazon and iTunes, but let's face it: it won't be the same as having all the episodes play one after the other, even if you briefly get interrupted by Netflix asking if you're "still watching."

Plus, it can get pricey — iTunes offers the complete collection for $140, while YouTube streaming for all ten seasons would run you about $200.

Unless you're a diehard fan who owns the entire show on DVD or stored away on your iTunes account already, it's about to get a little more difficult to mindlessly run through old episodes.

So with mere hours left in 2019, you might want to consider rewatching your favorite episodes before they're taken down from Netflix. I, for one, will be streaming a classic: "The One Where Ross And Rachel Take A Break."
