Nowhere does “extravaganza” quite like Las Vegas, and when the Formula 1 Grand Prix comes to the famous strip from Nov. 16 to 18, you can bet your house this will be a race weekend like none before it. With the MGM group boasting a host of properties lining the strip, guests will be spoiled for choice of unique events and experiences to celebrate this maiden grand prix from prime race locations.

At center stage, the Bellagio Fountain Club promises to be the place to see and be seen, boasting rotating celebrity chefs (think: Mario Carbone, David Chang, Michael Mina) and an open bar serving cocktails from world-renowned mixologists. Guests will be treated to the ultimate luxury VIP experience, which also includes transport between the club and the F1 paddock.

Those not fortunate enough to secure a ticket to the sold-out Bellagio Fountain Club need not fear, however, as MGM has put together an exhaustive list of immersive experiences to enjoy, from sipping craft cocktails out of replica driving shoes (Daniel Ricciardo–style) at the Shoey Bar at the Bellagio, to exploring pop-up boutiques from Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.

Flying to Las Vegas from Los Angeles? JSX offers a hop-on jet service that lets you avoid crowded public airport terminals — starting at $229 one way. Limited seats are still available for F1 weekend.

Visit the Cosmopolitan, home of the Aioka Watch Party, which will be hosted all weekend from its Boulevard Pool. You can enjoy a selection of curated F1-inspired art installments including a unique display of F1 helmets and the chance to encounter anonymous performance artists, The Bumbys, who will be on hand to offer their “fair and honest” appraisals of your appearance.

Hop across the street to the Aria to enjoy the latest masterpiece from the innovative Aria Patisserie team who have spent over 275 hours building a life-size F1 car made entirely out of candy. However you choose to spend it, it’s safe to say F1 is headed for its most action-packed race weekend yet.
