Lara Spencer Just Caused Strong Fan Reactions With Her Backless Photo on Instagram

Lara Spencer is a busy lady as a news anchor for Good Morning America. But aside from reporting the headlines on daytime television, she knows how to become an internet trend with her fashion choices.

Back in March, the ABC host turned up to the 2023 Oscars as one of the many who scored an invite to the event. Ahead of the ceremony, though, Lara uploaded a sneak peek look at the gown she intended to wear for the night. In a photo added to Instagram, fans see her posing in a one-shouldered red vintage Kaufman Franco gown against a life-size version of the trophy.

While the bottom of the dress couldn't be seen from the angle of the picture, the dress featured a see-through paneling down the back which gave the illusion of there being no material. What's more, she called out this unique detail in her caption, writing, "Both of us went backless."

Since Lara's red carpet style being 180 degrees from her usual on-air attire, she fully embraced the glamorous moment through the rest of the look.

For her jewelry, the news reporter dazzled with diamond bracelets and dangling earrings. She styled her blonde hair into a chic low bun with side swept bangs framing the right side of her face. To contrast the boldness of her high-end garment, the 53 year old kept her makeup simple with black eyeliner and a neutral lip color.

As soon as followers noticed Lara's departure from her signature laid-back daytime fashion, they immediately began commenting on Instagram. Unsurprisingly, one theme stood out, which was how stunning she appeared in the bold ensemble.
