Lanvin Updates Its Ballerina Flats for Spring 2024 Collection
Lanvin launched its newest collection on Wednesday, a spring update for their classic ballerina shoe, which has been Lanvin’s signature since the early 2000s.
The fashion house pulled styles from its house archive to produce a new collection fit for the spring style trends of 2024.

The new Lanvin Ballerina collection embodies spring through its playful, wide-ranging color palette. The collection includes 14 new shades and materials including pink and light green Nappa leather, indigo denim with raw edges, raffia and leopard print calf hair.
The collection also includes a range of darker color palettes, perfect for evening wear, that includes the Ballerina in shiny glitter leather, deep red tones and shoes adorned with a majestic satin bow or Lanvin Melodie jewel.
Each shoe fits the traditional ballet flat silhouette, which has grown in popularity in the women’s footwear industry over the past several years. The ballerina shoe trend is still on the rise, with no appearance of slowing down. Over the weekend, Rihanna rocked Gucci Ballet Flats during a night out in Los Angeles featuring the classic Gucci logo, and last week, Olivia Culpo was styled in metallic ballet flats from Miu Miu during a shoot for a Montce swimwear campaign.
The Lanvin Ballerina shoe elevates the ballet shoe in its simplest form, with no bows or ankle ribbons, creating a luxury option for a shoe that has flooded the market. Lanvin shoes are made in Italy, and the materials for this collection range from nappa leather to denim.
The Lanvin Ballerina spring 2024 collection is available now on Lanvin.com and in Lanvin boutique stores. The shoes retail for anywhere between $690-$990.
