If you can’t get enough of the Lance Armstrong saga, the upcoming biopic about the cancer survivor and former Tour de France winner’s rise and fall is set for the big screen this fall–at least internationally.

The Program, directed by Stephen Frears, will premiere to a limited audience at the Toronto Film Festival on September 13, then officially debut in France on September 15. The film is based on Irish journalist David Walsh’s books, including L.A. Confidential and From Lance to Landis.

The 1:32 trailer (below) is a fast-paced montage that jumps from racing action to scenes of Armstrong confronting critics like Walsh. While the movie's dramatic arc will rely on the tension between Armstrong and Walsh—one of the earliest antagonists to publicly question whether Armstrong was doping—we’re honestly most excited about the racing shots.

Some of the casting may seem visually unmooring to racing fans who watched the real characters for years, but actor Ben Foster seems to fully inhabit the Armstrong role on the bike. Jesse Plemons stars as Floyd Landis, whose accusations ultimately led to Armstrong’s downfall, while Chris O’Dowd plays the crusading Walsh.

A US release date is not yet set.
