Lana Condor Wears Sweater Briefs in Euphoria Magazine Cover Feature

So...I think I need sweater underwear now.

After stealing hearts via our TV screens in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Lana Condor pretty much became a huge celebrity overnight — not to mention a total fashion icon. In addition to inspiring TATBILB fans all around the world to dress like her Netflix character, Lara Jean Covey, Lana’s IRL style is also definitely worth emulating. (I’m still trying to perfect that glittery eyeshadow look from earlier this month.)

For the winter 2018 issue of Euphoria Magazine, Lana was photographed by Jack Alexander, wearing a long blazer, a comfy cream-colored bra, and what looks like high-waisted underwear...made out of a sweater. To tell the truth, it looks extremely cozy and perfect for a snowy winter day.

The shoot — for which Lana was styled by Carlee Wallace, with hair by Tania Becker and makeup by Paula Lanzador — features Lana lounging on a cushioned grey couch, her hair twisted into an elaborate updo, while she gazes at the camera, sporting shimmering eyeshadow and soft lip gloss. (It’s no surprise she manages to make this underwear/blazer combo look party-ready; remember the sparkly black bra she wore as a top in November? An icon.)

Another ~look~ shows Lana in a sheer red robe with ruffles, sitting barefoot on a counter. OK, I have all the inspiration I need for my holiday Instagrams, how bout you?

Speaking of Instagram, Lana shared some of the photos from the cover story on her own page, writing: “ Thank you to the amazing team for making my flirty edgy boss lady dreams come true!”

In the feature, Lana told reporter Ilana Kaplan that Lara Jean Covey is her “favorite,” adding: “Lots of mothers have said they’re so excited for their children to see it because when they were younger they didn’t have a role model or face that they could see that looked like their own on film and television.”

The representation factor of TATBILB continues to be important for Lana; in August 2018, she told Teen Vogue that “people are too smart” these days for movies to lack inclusion. “I don't think people have the patience; they're not blind,” she said. “They don't have the patience to watch a movie that doesn't look like real life.”
