Lady Gaga is a force in both the music and film industries – so it's only fitting that she has a home (and bathroom) to match her status. Thankfully, her Malibu property offers precisely that.

There's a lot to admire when it comes to the singer's Santa Monica estate (which, coincidentally, serves as one of the world's best homes). We've already penned a love letter to her kitchen, but following closely in its lead, is her marble bathroom, which oozes unrivaled opulence – and sets the bar for luxe bathroom ideas in ways far beyond the SoCal coast.

The singer, known for her songs Shallow and Poker Face, is no stranger to a bathroom selfie – but who can blame her – when her bathroom looks this good? In the posts below, the singer shows off her marble bathroom, complete with swirled golden and white marble, a spa-style shower, and a chandelier (this is Lady Gaga's bathroom, after all).

Of course, the entirety of Lady Gaga's space radiates luxury – but – in all its beauty – one feature comes out on top – and that's her marble.

'Marble is a classic material that always looks expensive and is available in many variations,' says Chicago-based designer Molly McGinness. But how can you bring the look into your home?

'Which white [marble] you choose depends on what kind of veining you like, warm or cold – or if you are trying to select something with minimal veining. So, you combine a beautiful and timeless material like white marble with a trendier finish like gold, and suddenly you have a new popular combination.'

'Celebrity or not, most people want to keep up with trends, and when they renovate their home, they are going to choose an updated look. Gold, of course, exudes a more luxe look, so combining it with marble is a natural choice,' Molly adds.

And she's not alone in her admiration.  Phoenix-based designer Emily Yeates also loves the look – saying the color combination offers the perfect blend of cleanliness and luxury.

'White and gold are often used in bathrooms as a sign of luxury because they create a clean, elegant, and timeless look that exudes sophistication and class,' she says. 'White is a classic color that creates a sense of purity, cleanliness, and freshness, while gold represents wealth, elegance, and luxury.'

To play up the luxury in your bathroom (just as Lady Gaga would surely want), Emily recommends, firstly, using white as the primary color for the walls, floors, and fixtures and adding gold accents through accessories such as towel racks, soap dishes, and toilet paper holders.

Beyond these color ideas, the designer says you should also install gold hardware such as faucets, showerheads, and drawer pulls to add a touch of glamor and luxury to your bathroom – as does reflective surfaces – including mirrors.

'Choose high-end materials like marble or quartzite for countertops and floors to create a luxurious feel,' she says. '[Also], Incorporate gold-framed mirrors or artwork to add dimension and depth to the space while elevating the overall design.'

And, for a simple, cost-friendly way to elevate your bathroom, Emily suggests adding indoor plants to your space – to 'bring life and freshness to the bathroom while also providing a nice contrast to the white and gold color scheme.'

If it's what Lady Gaga intended, we're certainly ready to invest.
