Lady Gaga Shares a Bare-Faced Selfie Following Her Leading Nine MTV VMA Nominations

• Lady Gaga shared a fresh-faced selfie Thursday on Instagram to celebrate her nine nominations for the upcoming 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.

• "I am so grateful and so blessed to have 9 #VMAs nominations this year for my album Chromatica, for Rain On Me, and other performances I've given. This is such a difficult time for people all over the world, I really honor how lucky I am to have a day like today," shared the singer.

Lady Gaga is baring it all.

The singer took to Instagram yesterday to share a fresh-faced selfie following the announcement that she and her "Rain on Me" collaborator, Ariana Grande, both tied in leading nominations for the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. In the photo, Gaga let her slightly curled platinum-blonde hair cascade over one shoulder as she shielded her face from the sun. The pop star continued her more casual style streak for the photo op, wearing a simple, ribbed nude top.

"I am so grateful and so blessed to have 9 #VMAs nominations this year for my album Chromatica, for Rain On Me, and other performances I've given," Gaga captioned the photo. "This is such a difficult time for people all over the world, I really honor how lucky I am to have a day like today. Along with promoting Chromatica, Gaga has remained busy in recent months helping raise money for those affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Back in April, the singer raised $35 million in only seven days for the World Health Organization and its tireless work to find a vaccine for the novel virus.
