After its theatrical release in May 2022, Top Gun: Maverick broke box office records, raking in $1.45 billion (and counting), with $248 million in its opening weekend alone. It's the fourth-highest-grossing movie ever in North America.

It has since been nominated for five Oscars ahead of the 95th Academy Awards—in addition to Lady Gaga's nomination for Best Original Song, which tallies her fourth Oscar nomination and third in this category. She secured her first Academy Award win in 2018 with "Shallow," from A Star Is Born, taking home Best Original Song.

Fans looking to catch up on the action before the March 12th awards show can now stream the movie at home.
