As fans eagerly awaited the release of Lady Gaga's newest song, "Hold My Hand," which she wrote for the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick movie, it's clear that the singer is taking some well-deserved time away from her busy schedule (which also includes her ongoing Las Vegas residency) for a little R&R. Gaga's latest Instagram post is all the proof I need to see that she is living her best life poolside.
The House of Gucci actress shared a pic of herself soaking up some sun while wearing a strappy, baby blue thong bikini paired with black sunglasses. I'm getting some serious Marilyn Monroe vibes here.
"Somebody’s 🧃," she captioned the pic.
Gaga's friends and followers were quick to hop into the comments section to cheer her on. Musician Brian Newman commented, "Wowzah!!" And performer Amanda Lepore wrote, "❤️🔥❤️."
Earlier this week, Gaga released "Hold My Hand" and explained its meaning to fans on Instagram.
"I wanted to say that I wrote the song for the INCREDIBLE movie #topgun #topgunmaverick but also for people who feel like they’re not gonna be ok or WE ARE never gonna be ok and that life taught me through hard times to have faith in humanity when it’s hard to have faith in yourself," she wrote, captioning a selfie of herself. "When you feel lonely, sad, removed from the world, far away from yourself and others #holdmyhand One day you may even be strong enough to hold your own 🤝.
