Lady Gaga Fans Gush Over Her Latest Set of Bare-Faced Selfies: ‘The Most Beautiful Rat’

As Lady Gaga continues to work on her highly anticipated new music, she took a short break from creativity to snap some selfies, sharing them with her supportive fans.
On Feb. 13, Gaga made some memories as she took a couple of photos in the recording studio, wearing what looked to be a band T-shirt while her platinum blonde hair shined in the light. She captioned the Instagram photo, "There’s a rat in the studio 🐀."
Actress Bella Thorne replied to the singer, "The most beautiful rat I have ever seen 😍," while fans felt the same way, with notes like, "MOTHERRRRRRRR," and "so beautiful. i love to see you glow in the sunlight."
"*becomes a rat*," joked a third.
Gaga further teased fans with a very short clip as she sat in front of the microphone in the same outfit, looking ready to record some new hit music.
"Stop teasing us !!! We can’t handle it," wrote a "Little Monster," as Gaga's fans are called, while a different fan was equally impatient, writing to the singer, "MA’AM YOU BETTER RELEASE THAT SONG RN."
As for what sort of music Gaga will release next, she hasn't shared many details, though other recent social media updates include photos of the "Poker Face" singer playing the guitar and piano.
She also told fans in the caption of a new photo, "No I’m not making a rock album," but even fans weren't sure if this was true or a red herring, with a comment reading, "i can never tell if you’re joking or not."
Any new album from the Grammy-winning artist will be her first solo album release since 2020's Chromatica, although Gaga released a collaborative album in September 2021 with the late Tony Bennett—their second together—called Love for Sale.
She has also worked on a few singles since her last album, including the song "Hold My Hand" from Top Gun: Maverick and a feature on The Rolling Stones' song "Sweet Sounds of Heaven."
