Lacey Chabert Just Made a Huge Hallmark Announcement

Get ready: Lacey Chabert is expanding on her collaborating with Hallmark in a very special way.

In a new announcement released by Deadline on November 27, the outlet revealed that the Mean Girls alum is teaming up with Hallmark Media for the first unscripted program for the network. According to the official report, she will be executive producing and starring in a show called Celebrations With Lacey Chabert, which is set to debut on Hallmark's subscription streaming site sometime in late 2024.

To celebrate the big news, Lacey went on Instagram to share her excitement with her fans. "I’m so excited to expand my relationship with @hallmarkchannel in bringing their first unscripted show to life!" she captioned a screenshot of the article. "It’s been such a joy to celebrate people who are heroes in their communities alongside our extraordinary event planners @lapartystylists. I can’t wait to share this show with you next year on @hallmarkmoviesnow 🎉."

When folks caught wind that the Party of Five star was working on a new project outside of her famous Christmas movie catalog for Hallmark, it was no surprise that they were elated for her.

"A celebration indeed 💕💕💕 Congratulations. This feels so very YOU! 💫💕," one person wrote on Instagram. "Hallmark picked the perfect person! 🙌😍 Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉❤️," another rejoiced. "Congratulations! Can’t wait to tune in! 😍," a different follower replied.

So, what exactly will Celebrations With Lacey Chabert be about? According to Deadline, the series will follow the actress as she "surprises kids, families and adults who are making a positive impact in their communities by throwing them a celebration of a lifetime." What's more, Lacey will work with party planners, other family members and groups of volunteers to produce the event with a turnaround time of just three days.

"Lacey Chabert shares the same passion for celebrating everyday heroes as we do at Hallmark,” Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive VP programming, Hallmark Media, said to the publication. "Lacey’s natural warmth and genuine nature make her a perfect fit for this series that is sure to leave our Hallmark audience feeling uplifted as they experience these heartwarming stories and spectacular events."
