Lacey Chabert Just Confirmed 3 More ' Wedding Veil' Movies Are Coming

Lacey Chabert, Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney will reunite for more wedding-inspired adventure.
Wedding Veil fans rejoice! Lacey Chabert just revealed that three more movies in The Wedding Veil series are coming to Hallmark Channel! Originally conceived as a trilogy of movies, the films were so popular with fans that Hallmark Media is making more in the series.
“Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney and I, we are gonna be back with three more ‘Wedding Veils,” Lacey Chabert told Fallon on a recent episode. “We’re currently filming the last one. We’re about to actually head to Greece this weekend to film the third one. But Ali is the lead-in. And we are so excited to bring these characters back to life. Because the movies always end with a kiss, they fall in love. And now we get to see what happened after that. There might be babies, the friendships are deeper.”
Lisa Hamilton Daly, Hallmark Media's EVP of Programming had already confirmed during the summer session of TCA (Television Critics Association) that the feel-good network hoped to make more of them. "The Wedding Veil' was so popular that we’re hoping to do more of that" she said at the time.
And now we know that three more movies in The Wedding Veil franchise are on the way! We even have a premiere date for the first movie. The first movie, The Wedding Veil Expectation, premieres Jan. 7. Chabert will be front and center alongside When Calls the Heart star Kevin McGarry.
We got our first hint that more movies were coming in the summer when Creative BC's website revealed two productions with "Veil Road Productions" listed as the production company had set up camp in Vancouver, Canada. Veil Road Productions is the same production company that produced the original three Wedding Veil movies.
While the first production's show title is "Unlisted", the second production's movie title is listed as "Wedding Veil Wishes 5". Creative BC is a Canadian government created and supported organization to help grow British Columbia's creative industries,

The two films share the same production manager and the two productions will overlap each other by a few days during principal photography. Peter Bensen, who is listed as the director for the "Unlisted" Wedding Veil film, recently directed Big Sky River and Color My World with Love. He also works in front of the camera and has had supporting roles in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries and most recently in Perfect Harmony opposite James Denton and Sherri Saum.

Terry Ingram is listed as the director for Wedding Veil Wishes 5. Ingram directed all three movies in the original Wedding Veil trilogy.
