La Parada/Farm & Table hosting Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest

May 3—Since 2010, Pamela Montoya and family have presented the annual Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest.

This year's event will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at La Parada/Farm & Table, 8917 Fourth St. NW, in the North Valley.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come to a beautiful space in Albuquerque and enjoy food and support local artists," Montoya says. "We've held this festival since 2010 and it's become an annual staple in our community."

The Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest will have more than 50 vendors that will be selling wares including arts & crafts, jewelry and more.

The Zydeco band Juanita will perform from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The event will also have pastries, sodas, beer and wine from Farm & Table.

The Street Food Institute and Sanchez Taco Truck will also be onsite with food for sale.

Montoya says the costume pet parade will begin at 2:30 p.m.

She reminds visitors that parking is limited and located across the street from La Parada/Farm & Table.
